Challenge #31 - Psalm 51:7-10

A blessed Fifth Sunday in Lent to you! Thank you for joining us for another scripture inspired challenge. We hope you will be blessed by your visit here.

Before I go any further, I want to acknowledge the efforts of our lovely Kristine Breach, who is responsible for our awesome new blog look. Kris is our resident "techie," and always does a beautiful job. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does. Let's hear a round of applause for Kris!!! Thank you girlfriend!!! We are so lucky to have you!!!

Our sponsor for this week's challenge is once again Simon Says Stamp! We are so grateful to Simon Says Stamp for being our regular monthly sponsor. Have you been by their store lately? You should! They offer all the latest and greatest products
for your crafting needs...so why not stop by and show them some love!!!

One of you lucky ladies will win this wonderful stamp set for playing in this week's challenge:

This is but one of many stamp sets exclusive to Simon Says Stamp. Isn't it wonderful! Thank you Simon Says Stamp for blessing us each month!!!

Our hostess this week is the Simply Beautiful girl herself, Ceal Pritchett. Ceal picked one of my favorite scriptures. I've found myself praying a lot lately for God to "create in me a pure heart" because of some stresses at work that have me thinking and saying things that I'm not proud of. We are sinners by nature, but by the blood of Christ, and his great sacrifice, our sins are washed away pure as snow. We are forgiven, my friends. What wonder! What joy! What peace! Yes, Lord, we ask you to create in each of us a pure heart... and renew a steadfast spirit within us. Amen!

Which brings to mind this awesome song, which I've included here for you. Enjoy!

SCRIPTURE

Psalm 51:7-10 "Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness, let the bones you have crushed rejoice. Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."

I love this song! And just want to say thanks for all that you guys put into this site. It really is inspiring. Creatively speaking. But also spiritually speaking. It allows us to take a scripture & meditate on it while we create.
